Overview

This song is a bit of a physical relief after all those single note lines in the Descension family. It still has some single note work, but it’s more focused on the rhythmic pulse of the strumming. It’s actually 99% the same song as Bukka White’s Shake ‘Em On Down. The same pulse, lyrics, and so on.

It would be interesting to know if Bukka White and Petway ever crossed paths and shared this song. Some interviewed content exists with White, but I don’t know or think he mentions Petway (although he does mention his admiration of Patton on one).

Hope you enjoy this great tune!

‘Well, all right’
